My Baby is 5 today!

Jessica,
5 years ago today you were born. I remember that day like it was yesterday. I remember getting up early in the morning to go to the hospital for my C-Section. We were so anxious to finally meet this little person who took up all the space in my belly! I remember being SOO nervous to have surgery and so exited at the same time. We had family in town to meet you also, Aliya was one of the most exited! She could not wait to not be an only child anymore! And out you came at 7:31 am weighing in at 6 pounds 11 ounces and 20 inches long! You were so tiny with your bright red hair! We were all surprised to see how much red hair you had! you were and are still so beautiful!!! We are so blessed to have such a sweet, caring, outspoken and loving little girl! I love everything about you! I love your firey yet sweet personality! You sure are not shy most of the time, and it is so easy to fall in love with you! I love your sweet "surprises" you give me every night(kisses) and how you love to snuggle me and your little sensitive feelings. I love you so much and am so glad God gave you to us. Happy Birthday sweet girl!

New Years!

For New years, we went to Show Low to spend time with my family. We went to the snow and the kids had so much fun!

I can't believe my little Aliya is already 10! I love her so much! Here are the things I love about Aliya

1. She is very caring and loving
2. She still wants to hold my hand at school in front of her friends, and wave goodbye to me when I drop her off.
3. She loves animals
3. She wants to be a pet Doctor, a pet rescuer, or live on a farm when she grows up.
4. She Loves Science
5. She is really good at playing the Piano and she enjoys it.
6. She still wants me to lay down with her when she goes to sleep.
7. She Loves to be home, she would rather be home than go out as a family
8. I love all the cute crafts and drawings she makes me.
9. She is such a good big sister and Jessica just loves her.
10. She is very smart.
11. She enjoys dance class and is very good at it, she is Super Flexible! I swear she is part gumby! :)
12. She is shy an sweet
13. She loves swimming
14. She loves art
15. She likes crystals, rocks and fossils
16. Ever since learning her new dance, she has a new love for the Cyndi Lauper Video "Girls Just want to have Fun" She listens to that song in her room all the time!

I could go on and on! I just Love that Girl!

Ok, so it has really taken me a long time to update this blog. I could not bring myself to update it because I knew that meant that Adriana's pictures and posts would be moved back and she would not be in any new posts about our family. So I decided it was time to create her a seperate blog that I could post her things on and keep basically a diary of her and how I am feeling. It is still in the works, but I think it is looking nice so far. I still need to get her pictures and things up... Click on her picture to the right to see her blog.

Its been awhile...

So it has definately been awhile since I have posted anything on our blog, the last post was when we found out that our baby Angel was a girl. And now she is already back in heaven. It is still unreal to me alot of times. I actually still feel like mabey it was a mistake and if I go the the cemetary to get her that she will be ok and I can just feed and hold her and everything will be fine. I wish that was the case. I wish I could of had her on April 8th when she was still alive and then there would be no cord accidents. But I also know that if it is their time to go, then it is just their time. Heavenly Father would take her regardless of when I had her, like Russ said, "She fullfilled the measure of her creation, she received her body and felt Joy and Love, that is all she needed to do." Her purpose here on earth has been fullfilled. But I don't want it to be fullfilled already, I still want her here with me NOW. But that again is not up to me. I have to keep telling myself that I get her later, I get to raise, love and hold her later. I get to do it all in the most perfect world where I do not have to worry about her growing up and getting hurt by this horrible world or making the wrong choices. Now she is just waiting on us to make to right choices to make it back to her. She is definatley the first one I think about when choices im my life arise. Sometimes I still feel like I am pregnant, like it's not over, mabey because I went thru the whole pregnancy and delivery and never brought her home with us, like it's not over yet. Her room is still the same. Her little clothes and blankets are all still neatly folded in her crib underneath new stuff that should not have to be there like funeral programs & sympathy cards. I miss her. I love her. I want her. Noone will ever replace her. She is my angel that got her wings to early. I wish I would have been able to see her eyes look up at me, My arms ache. I want to smell her and kiss her little nose. I want to help teach her to walk and talk. But later, later I get to do all those things. To her it won't be long, to us it will be a lifetime. A long lifetime. I LOVE MY BABY. I LOVE ALL MY BABIES! I will post lots of pictures and video soon.

Yes, We were obviously made for making girls! I was shocked, I thought for sure it would be a boy just because how different this pregnancy is! Russ thought it would be a boy because of the "Law of averages"., and Aliya thought it was a boy, and Jessica said a Girl. But we are very exited and she is healthy! She weighs 14 ounces right now and is very active. The Doctor asked me if I drank caffeine before my appointment because she was moving so much! Now we are contemplating names...

Aliya's new Hampster "Nemo" She has to hold it with socks on her hands for now, since it still bites. Our old hampster Riley died a little while ago after having her for what seemed forever! I was the only one that cried. But I did that after every one went to bed. Come on! Riley was the best! She used to hold on to your finger and lick it like a little cat! What hampster does that?

my girls were taking a bath in my jetted tub and as soon as the jets went on, the bubbles kept getting bigger and bigger! They had so much fun!

Fathers Day Yummmy!

Aliya decided to make cupcakes for Russ for Fathers Day, All by herself she started getting out the ingredients, she put in cocoa, sugar, milk. she wanted to bake it in her own little cooking set. I did not want to cook it since it was all just thrown all together and I thought it wouldnt do anything, but she really wanted to, so I helped her throw in some baking soda, baking powder and flour. We measured NOTHING! She was so exited to see them raising in the oven. Russ tried one very unsure about the whole experience and he said they actually didn't taste bad! Aliya was so proud she took some to school in her lunch and gave one to her teacher! She will be such a good cook! She always wants to help!
I made this way yummy Reece's Peanut Butter cake for Russ, it was Awsome! It was gone within a few days! Seriously, I have not had a better cake. I got the recipe from someone else's blog! We topped it with Reece's ice cream! YUMM! I also made him some shrimp scampi. That was a big step for me since shrimp sicks me out to look at it let alone cook it! So needless to say Russ was so exited that I was actually making a kind of fish! He Loved it and said it tasted like Carrabba's. he kept saying "next time, we will put in less noodles so it can be saucier!" I said "What do you mean next time? How do you know there will be a next time?" He goes "Oh there will be a next time!" HAHA! Well I was pretty proud since I never made it before!

This is the normal routine before bed, the girls get a piggy back or shoulder ride to bed! They love it!

Jessica loves Birthdays! Even when they are not hers! She will sing the Happy Birthday song all day!
My mom's Birthday cake that I made, HAHA! I did not wait until the cake of frosting cooled before I frosted it! And did not trim the bottom layer to make it sit flat. The result? A cake that kept slipping off the bottom layer and when I tried to push it back on, it ripped the side of the cake off! AHH! Oh well, it tasted great and my mom thought it was funny! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

Jessica's Swimming class!

Jessica loved her swimming class! She was the only one that was not crying! Then the next day she did not want to go, I was thinking, " I hope she is not getting sick. Took her temperature and it was barely 99 degrees and I thought, hmmm mabey she will be fine and made her swim. She cried the entire time and I guess that just ruined the fun swimming class! she then cried at every class. I wish I would of just had her stay home that day. Hopefully she will like it next week. I am taking her swimming with Aliya a few times before that and hopefully she will remember how much fun it is!

So the day after my Birthday, my neighbor found these 2 dogs in my neighborhood that almost got hit by a car. He asked if I wanted them. I took them to the vet to see if they were microchipped. Of course the irresponsible owner did not do that. So what happened? They got lost and now the owner will probably never find them! PEOPLE, YOU NEED TO MICROCHIP YOUR PETS! All the shelters and Vets will scan for one first thing when a pet shows up to their facilities. Then the owner will be contacted. And don't even get me started on the shelters and how sad it is when most of the pets die because their owners either give them up or arent responsible to microchip them. Just pay the $25 and get it done! If I knew this before we bought our dog I would have gotten one at the shelter and saved a life. Call me an animal activist if you want but this is something I feel strongly about. Guess what? Your lost or unwanted pet that was either purposly left out to get lost or taken to the shelter can't go up to a human and say, "I really miss my home, can you help me find it?" or they can't say from the inside the scary shelter's kennel "I am really scared and depressed, Why does my family not come and get me?" Or the ones that really don't want to go to their previously abusive home, "Please get me out of this place! Please take me with you!" Dogs are smart and they can sense what is going on. What happened to these dogs in the picture you ask? Well after about 2 weeks of posting found ads all over the internet, including one the shelters use with no response from the owner, I found them a new loving home! Oh and by the way, SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR PETS!

Jessica would not leave the desk of candy. I told her she could not have any since it was for kids who won games, but every now and again I would look and she would be sneaking in a piece.

For any of you who knew Inge, she is my aunt. She passed away on January 26th 2008 to be with her mom, dad and sister. I am soo happy and sad at the same time. I am so glad she is in heaven now and doesnt have her handicap anymore! We will all miss her very much! We love you Inge!
